Cybercrime policies/strategies

The National Cyber ​​Security Strategy of Mozambique (2017-2021) ‘aims to create a safer and resilient cyberspace for the Government, private sector, civil society and other institutions’. The strategy has 5 key objectives:

  1. Improve the protection of critical information infrastructure (ICI);
  2. Strengthen the legal, technical and operational cyber security framework;
  3. Establish a national framework to promote information sharing, cooperation and coordination on cyber security;
  4. Develop technical capacity for research and innovation in security cybernetics; and
  5. Creating a national culture of cybersecurity
In the framework of the strategy, under the first key objective, a national CERT has been created.
