Conference “We CAN!” in Georgia
Description: On November 2017, the conference entitled We CAN!, dedicated to youth and human rights activists and non-governmental organisations for the No Hate Speech Movement campaign, was held in Georgia. The conference included keynote talks by various activists from non-governmental organisations who are working in the field of human rights, and representatives from the Ministry of Sport and Youth. The conference served as space to introduce the Council of Europe’s manuals We CAN! and Bookmarks – two educational tools that help and support youth workers, educators and activists to take actions against hate speech and oppressive narratives.
