Piloting of training module on fight against financing of terrorism was conducted in İstanbul on 21-22 June 2022 with participation of 29 judges. The training consisted of international standards on the topic, combined with national Turkish context and delivered through interactive approach.

Simultaneously, 69 judges and prosecutors benefited from the cascade trainings of in-service training modules on reasoned judgements in criminal law and right to liberty and security (Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights). The trainings served to disseminate international and national standards on the topic, through interactive and practical cases which will enable participants to improve their judicial practice.

This activity was organised under the EU/CoE Joint Project “Strengthening the Criminal Justice System and the Capacity of Justice Professionals on Prevention of the European Convention on Human Rights Violations”.
