On 25 August 2021 in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, a ceremony was held to mark the successful completion of the HELP course "Right to liberty and security" under Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The course was held in frames of the third phase of the Council of Europe's Human Rights Education for Legal Profession (HELP) project in Russia.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgiz Gilazov, his Deputy Maxim Belyaev, and the Director of the Kazan branch of the Russian State University of Justice Ramil Sharifullin solemnly handed over the certificates to the judges and assistant judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as judges of the district city courts of the Republic.
