Round table dedicated to the launch of the HELP courses on Motivation of Judgments and Right to Liberty and Security for representatives of the judiciary of the Republic of Tatarstan

On October 28, 2021 the Council of Europe's project on "Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) in the Russian Federation" in cooperation with the Kazan branch of the Russian State University of Justice and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan held a round table dedicated to the launch of the HELP courses on Motivation of Judgments and Other Court Decisions and Right to Liberty and Security. The event was attended by judges and assistant judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan as well as judges of district (city) courts of the Republic.

The participants were welcomed by Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Maxim Belyaev and Director of the Kazan Branch of the Russian State University of Justice Mr. Ramil Sharifullin.

The event was held remotely due to the current epidemiological situation in Russia.

The courses' tutors are the Council of Europe experts and HELP trainers Ms. Oksana Kachalova and Mr. Dmitry Gurin.
