Regional HELP Training for Trainers in Central Asia

On 22 and 23 April 2021 in frames of the Central Asia Rule of Law Programme the first online regional HELP Training for Trainers was organised for 37 legal professionals from the Central Asian region: Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The opening session was addressed by Mikhail Lobov, Head of the Human Rights Standards, Judiciary and Cooperation Department of the Council of Europe, Tigran Karapetyan, Head of Eastern Partnership and Russian Federation Unit of the Council of Europe, and Johannes Stenbaek Madsen, Head of Co-operation section of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan.

Irina Vitchinka, Senior Project Officer of the HELP in the Russian Federation project, took part in the training as a trainer and presented to the participants the HELP methodology, technical aspects of working with the online HELP platform as well as HELP courses already available in Russian and courses that are currently being adapted within the scope of the HELP in the Russian Federation project.
