MONEYVAL has launched its 5th round mutual evaluation process of the United Kingdom Crown Dependency of Guernsey with a high-level exchange including the Deputy Peter FERBRACHE, President, Policy and Resources Committee, Deputy Rob PROW, President, Committee for Home Affairs and the Chair of MONEYVAL, Ms Elżbieta FRANKOW-JAŚKIEWICZ. The high-level exchange was followed by a training for the authorities and the private sector. It was aimed at familiarising all national stakeholders involved in the evaluation with the underlying standards and methodology of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the evaluation approach of MONEYVAL. The training was organised physically in St. Peter Port and attended by more than 50 representatives of Government Ministries, the financial intelligence unit, law enforcement, prosecutors, judiciary, supervisors, tax authority, registries and customs.
