MONEYVAL launches the evaluation process of Bosnia and Herzegovina (27 and 28 October 2022 in Sarajevo)
MONEYVAL has launched its 5th round mutual evaluation process of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a high-level exchange including the Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr Nezir Pivic and the Chair of MONEYVAL, Ms Elżbieta FRANKOW-JAŚKIEWICZ. The high-level exchange was followed by a training for the authorities and the private sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was aimed at familiarizing all national stakeholders involved in the evaluation with the underlying standards and methodology of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the evaluation approach of MONEYVAL. The training was organized physically in Sarajevo and attended by more than 40 representatives of the financial intelligence unit, law enforcement and supervisory authorities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and Brčko District.
