On 26-27 March 2018, MONEYVAL organised - together with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) - a workshop for prosecutors and judges. This workshop, which was held in Strasbourg (France), provided a platform for gathering and sharing experiences, challenges and best practices in investigating and prosecuting money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as depriving criminals of their proceeds. 100 participants from 43 different states and territories in Europe and Central Asia attended the event. The workshop was co-chaired by the FATF President, Mr. Santiago Otamendi, and the President of MONEYVAL, Mr. Daniel Thelesklaf.
