A delegation from the Council of Europe and its MONEYVAL monitoring committee met with Pope Francis on 8 October 2020. The meeting was organised in the framework of the on-going MONEYVAL evaluation visit, aimed at assessing compliance of the Holy See / Vatican City State with international anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism standards.
