Brussels, 6-7 May 2019: Ms Aliona Grossu, member of the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities in respect of the Republic of Moldova, participated in the European Regional Forum on Education, Language and the Human Rights of Minorities organised under the responsibility of the UN Special Rapporteur on minority issues. She presented the Framework Convention and the important role the instrument plays within the international Human Rights protection system to more than 150 participants from governments, United Nations bodies and specialized agencies, European intergovernmental organisations and civil society representatives.
