Tbilisi

Tbilisi, Georgia, 15-16 June 2016

The objectives of this Regional Workshop were:

  • to consolidate the single points of contact (SPOCs) structure foreseen in the MEDICRIME Convention;
  • to align the working methodology of judicial and law-enforcement authorities and link it with the one already developed by health authorities;
  • to share experiences in combating threats to public health.

Given the multidisciplinary nature of the action against pharmaceutical crime, the target audience of this workshop included representatives of judicial, law enforcement and customs authorities from 14 Council of Europe Member States invited to this event as well as from 2 countries participating in the EU-Council of Europe Joint Programme "Strengthening democratic reform in the southern Neighbourhood".
