On June 28, 2018, police have raided Sendika.org news website’s bureau situated in İstanbul due to an investigation launched against its editor Ali Ergin Demirhan. Following the lawyers arriving at the bureau, police prevented the lawyers being near them for a while. Sendika.org is a Turkish online media portal specialised in labor issues founded in 2001.
