Serbian journalist Stefan Cvetković reported missing on the night of 13-14th of June 2018 in the Vojvodina town of Bela Crkva, Serbia. Local police has confirmed that his car was found with doors open and lights on. Witnesses confirmed that journalist’s watch was found with the broken bracelet next to the car. The Serbian Ministry of Interior stated launching a search operation immediately after being informed about the disappearance. In the recent years, Stefan Cvetković has complained receiving threats from criminal and political circles in Serbia. On 19th of May 2018, Stefan Cvetković publicly complained that he had been detained for six hours at the Jarinje crossing by the Kosovo authorities for questioning regarding his connections related to investigation on the murder of the politician Oliver Ivanović.
06 Dec 2018: Considering the fact that the journalist was found unharmed on 15 June 2018, on 6 December, the partner organisations to the Platform declared this case to be “resolved”, concluding it was no longer an active threat to media freedom.

On 15 June 2018, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that journalist Stefan Cvetkovic, who went missing a few days earlier in the week, has been found "alive and well", and appeared not to have been kidnapped.
