The headquarters of a TV station, Piazza Pulita (LA7), were raided on 12 January 2016 by officers from the Division for General Investigation and Special Operations (DIGOS) of the Italian police in Rome. The city’s police force and prosecutors have also recently seized raw footage and other investigative material by requesting from the channel’s owners. Another report, aired in November and entitled "Terrorist alert: Are the security forces equipped ?" was seized by the authorities, claiming that the measure was part of combating terrorism. After making copies of the seized material, copies were returned to the TV station.
