The Council of Europe project "Supporting the transparency, inclusiveness and integrity of electoral practice in Ukraine" opens the registration for participation in the Online School "ElecLab: Election Camp 2020" for civil society organizations (CSOs) planning to observe the upcoming 2020 local elections in Ukraine.

The Online School is aimed at strengthening the capacity of CSOs in Ukraine to organize and conduct civic election observation, as well as to report on the results of the election observation in line with the international election standards and good practice.

The Online School will be held from 3 to 22 September 2020 in the format of distance learning. During the Online School, the participants will pass interactive online learning modules, perform individual and group assignments, as well as participate in online seminars and sessions with international and national experts/trainers.

The Online School will cover three thematic areas:

• international electoral principles and standards, election observation and reporting standards;
• legal framework for the organisation and conduct of local elections in Ukraine;
• civic observation of local elections in Ukraine.

Civil society organizations are invited to participate in the Online School, if:

• they are duly registered according to the law;
• their statutory activities include issues related to electoral process and election observation;
• they plan to observe the local elections in Ukraine on 25 October 2020.

In order to become a participant of the Online School, a CSO should pass registration and selection process. In particular, 5 representatives of a CSO willing to participate in the Online School shall individually fill out and submit the registration form following the link.

Registration is open up to and including 25 August 2020.

Confirmation of registration will be sent to registered participants by 28 August 2020.
