Progress Assessment Report on the Recommendations of the Gap Analysis of Legislation, Policies and Practices to Prevent and Combat Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in Ukraine

In November 2019, the Council of Europe project End Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse @ Europe (EndOCSEA@Europe) conducted a "Gap Analysis of Legislation, Policies, and Practices to Prevent and Combat Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in Ukraine". As a follow-up, in August 2020, the Council of Europe project Combating violence against children in Ukraine has performed an assessment of the progress made by Ukrainian authorities on the recommendations set out in the Gap Analysis.

 

The results of the Progress Assessment Report were presented by a Council of Europe international expert Irina Urumova at the round table Criminal protection of children from sexual exploitation and prevention of re-victimisation of children during criminal proceedings. The round table was held within the framework of the Council of Europe project Combating violence against children in Ukraine together with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on law enforcement and PO Ukrainian Institute for the Future on 22 September 2020.
