Infographics containing information for internally displaced persons is placed in train carriages

Useful information about the first steps of people who fled their homes is placed in train carriages in the result of close cooperation of the Council of Europe Project "Internal Displacement in Ukraine: Building Solutions. Phase II" (hereinafter – the Project), NGO "Civil Holding "GROUP OF INFLUENCE" and JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia".

Inforgraphics contains simple instructions on how to be registered as internally displaced persons (IDPs), how to receive social assistance, legal advice, and access to housing. In addition, current phone numbers of useful hotlines are listed as well.

Apart from the carriages of Ukrainian trains, such infographics was included to the educational materials of the online course "What an Internally Displaced Person Should Know?" available on Prometheus platform.

The Project also supported the development of infographics for IDPs that will be located in the places of IDPs registration, i.e. in social welfare offices, administrative service centers (ASC), and in executive committees of local councils. The A3 poster contains useful hotline contacts, step-by-step guidelines for obtaining the state aid and legal advice on IDPs rights protection.

This infographics has been developed by NGO "Civil Holding "GROUP OF INFLUENCE" in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Coalition of Public Organizations working in the field of human rights of the war-affected people. The distribution of printed materials is taking place thanks to the cooperation with the National Social Service of Ukraine.

Electronic distribution of infographics was also done to ensure wider coverage. Publications were made on the website, on social networks (Facebook, Telegram, Instagram), in groups for IDPs, through e-mailing and mass media distribution. All materials have been developed in accordance with the requirements of information accessibility standards.

Based on the results of the electronic media campaign, more than 3,500 people directly received information about the rights and duties of IDPs.
