In mid-July 2020 Kharkiv Regional Foundation “Public Alternative” carried out the series of webinars in the framework of the grant provided by the Council of Europe project “Internal Displacement in Ukraine: Building Solutions”.

The grant “Gender sensitiveness of local policies and legal practices on internal displacement” has been implemented since September 2019 with the purpose to mainstream gender as a cross-cutting issue in local policies and legal practices on internal displacement. Kharkiv Regional Foundation “Public Alternative” applied gender lenses to the policies and practices along with elaborating pertinent recommendations to key stakeholders in Kharkiv, Vinnitsya, Luhansk and Poltava regions.

Each webinar summed-up the recommendations addresses a particular stakeholder, giving the answers to the crucial questions in the field: use of international human rights mechanisms, gender mainstreaming in local IDP-integration policies, business models inclusive to women IDPs, women empowerment and civil participation etc.

Experts of Kharkiv Regional Foundation “Public Alternative” elaborated 6 publications and training materials which will be soon available on Fb page of the organization.

Besides, on 4^th of August 2020 a final event of the grantee will take place and will be streamed from Kyiv.
