On October 19 from 14:00 to 16:00 an online discussion on the results and plans of the Public Broadcaster in Ukraine is to be held.

Participants will pay special attention to the importance of securing funding for the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine for 2021 and discuss alternative models for ensuring adequate and sustainable funding, free from political interference, in accordance with Council of Europe standards.

The event is organized by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy in cooperation with National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine and the project “EU and Council of Europe working together to support freedom of media in Ukraine”.
