‘Promoting Social Human Rights as a Key Factor of Sustainable Democracy in Ukraine’ Project celebrates its first anniversary

The Council of Europe Project ‘Promoting Social Human Rights as a Key Factor of Sustainable Democracy in Ukraine’ was launched on 1 August 2019.

It became the first among the 47 member States of the Council of Europe to promote social human rights guaranteed by the European Social Charter.

The priority areas of the Project are aimed at protecting and promoting the rights of children, older people and people with disabilities.

During the first year of implementation, a number of activities aimed at achieving the main goal of the project – strengthening the sustainability of democracy through promoting social rights in accordance with European standards – were organised and carried out.

We present a video and a digest of the Project's achievements during 2019-2020.
