On 20 September 2023, Maciej Janczak, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine met with Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
While welcoming the new Head of Office in Kyiv, First Deputy Minister Dzhaparova underlined the significance of the Council of Europe’s support to Ukraine. Mr. Janczak reaffirmed the Council of Europe’s unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine. He presented the progress of projects implemented within the framework of the Action Plan for Ukraine “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” 2023-2026, as well as launch of new projects designed to further contribute to the resilience and reconstruction of Ukraine.
The meeting also featured discussions about the ongoing cooperation within the framework of the implementation Action Plan, recommendations of the monitoring bodies, human rights of Crimean Tatars, the significance of the Crimean Platform, as well as the importance of the Register of Damages caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
