The Congress is committed to combatting any form of gender stereotypes, sexism and violence against women, in line with the Council of Europe strategy for gender equality. It regularly adopts recommendations on this topic. Within the framework of the project “Promoting local democracy in Ukraine”, it is preparing a study on gender equality in local political life and the gender perspective in local policies in Ukraine. The Congress is therefore looking for experts who could contribute to this consultancy work. Deadline for application is set on 15 October 2017.  Further information is provided in the terms of reference  of this study.
