During its extraordinary meeting on 26 September 2023, the Committee of the Parties to the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention) elected its new Bureau, composed of:

• Tanja Gonggrijp, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the Council of Europe, elected as Chair ;
• Gilberto Jerónimo, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Portugal to the Council of Europe, elected as first Vice-Chair ;
• Daniela Cujbă, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe, elected as second Vice-Chair.

The term of office for all these members started today, 26 September 2023, and will end on 31 January 2024.
