As we approach the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the President of the Committee of Ministers, Dominique Hasler, and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić, recalled the importance of the Istanbul Convention and strongly encourage the Council of Europe member states which have not yet done so to sign and ratify the Convention.
