On 5 April 2017, GREVIO, under its first (baseline) evaluation procedure, held its state dialogue with Albanian representatives on issues related to the report submitted by Albania.

The Albanian delegation was led by Merita Xhafaj from the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth and was composed of various representatives from Albania : Etleva Sheshi, Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth; Blerina Subashi  INSTAT;  Silvana Sulaj State Police; Brunilda Peci  Foreign Affairs Ministry and Iliriana Topulli Ministry of Education.

A GREVIO delegation will carry out a visit to Albania from 24 to 28 April 2017 in order to assess the situation on the ground and report back to GREVIO.

GREVIO will draw up and adopt its evaluation report on Albania by the end of 2017.
