On 21 February 2018, under its first (baseline) evaluation procedure, GREVIO held a dialogue with the authorities of Sweden on issues related to their state report.

The Swedish delegation was composed of various representatives from Sweden: H.E. Ms Pernilla Baralt, State Secretary of the Minister for Children, the Elderly and Gender Equality, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs; Mr Mattias Larsson, Ministry of Justice; Ms Marianne Ny, Director of Public Prosecution, Swedish Prosecution Authority; Ms Lena Mirow, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs; Mr Ola Florin, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs; Mr Christopher Carlson, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs; Ms Karin Flarup, Deputy to the Permanent Representative, Permanent Representation of Sweden to the Council of Europe;

A GREVIO delegation will carry out a visit to Sweden from 22 to 29 March 2018 in order to assess the situation on the ground and report back to GREVIO.

GREVIO is scheduled to publish its evaluation report on Sweden by the end of 2018.
