The 14th meeting of the Committee of the Parties to the Istanbul Convention was held in Strasbourg on 1 June 2023.
The Committee elected the following ten experts to serve on the Council of Europe’s Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO) starting on 1 June 2023 for a term of four years:
• Guillaume Barbe (France)
• María Rún Bjarnadóttir (re-elected, Iceland)
• Pascale Florence Egida Emilia Franck (Belgium)
• Marie-Claude Hofner (re-elected, Switzerland)
• Ivo Holc (re-elected, Slovenia)
• Olena Kharytonova (Ukraine)
• Maria Andriana Kostopoulou (re-elected, Greece)
• Helmut Tichy (Austria)
• Pille Tsopp-Pagan (Estonia)
• Angelina Zaporojan-Pirgari (Republic of Moldova)
During the meeting, the Committee also adopted its conclusions in respect of Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Serbia under its process of supervising the implementation of its recommendations. The conclusions welcome the measures taken and requests, where necessary, that further measures be taken within a two-year period.
