The cities of Oeiras (Portugal) and Salt (Spain) have just joined the ICC network

The ICC Programme is happy to announce that the cities of Oeiras (Portugal) and Salt (Spain) have just joined the ICC network, bringing the total number of member cities to 123. 

Oeiras is located in the western part of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area and it is the fifth-most densely populated municipality in Portugal. It is also an important economic hub, with the highest concentration of population with higher education in the country and the lowest unemployment rate in the Lisbon area. The city joined the RPCI (ICC Portuguese national network), becoming its 13th member.

Salt is a municipality located in Catalonia, nearby the Costa Brava. The city is known for its elevated diversity. Over 77 nationalities are represented in the population and residents with foreign-born background represent 40% of the population. Salt joined the RECI (ICC Spanish national network), becoming its 18th member.
