Save the date! ICC Webinar on gentrification and interaction in the public space

The ICC is pleased to invite all members of the national and international networks to take part in the ICC webinar Gentrification and Public Space - Interaction in crises and beyond. The webinar will take the upcoming ICC policy brief on gentrification as a starting point; it will further give special attention to the exceptional circumstances that Covid-19 has created in the public space and raise questions on how to increase interaction in the time of social and physical distancing.

The webinar will focus on the following three topics:

  • Presentation of the ICC policy brief on gentrification to be published in June 2020
  • Gentrification in the shadow of the Covid-19 crises
  • Interaction in public space in times of social distancing

The webinar will be presented and moderated by ICC experts from Mela Social Enterprise. Mela is an expert on public space and gentrification and will offer an introduction to each topic, followed by a discussion between participants.
