GINSBURG Beth

Beth is an International Expert for the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities Programme running the pilot project, Diversity Connectors for Start-ups: The Art of Mixing. She is also a co-founder of Book Clubs in Schools, a social enterprise promoting reading for pleasure in disadvantaged schools.

She has expertise in the following areas: benchmarking and accreditation of corporates and cities, supplier diversity and socially responsible procurement, and in helping cities create and improve mechanisms to help immigrant SMEs, micro businesses and start-ups. She has worked with senior decision-makers from national and local governments, not-for-profits and corporates in the U.S., and Europe and with the European Union, particularly on issues of social inclusion of immigrants through economic opportunity.

From 1995 to 2015 Beth worked for the Migration Policy Group (MPG) the Brussels-based innovative ‘think and do tank’ which she helped create with Dr Jan Niessen, MPG’s retired Director.
