What does “diversity, identity and equality” mean to you? – A new ICC video

Interculturalism builds on recognising the individual within the broader society, in understanding we are all different, with our own dreams, thoughts and needs. This individualised and yet whole society approach is built on the pillars of positive interaction, real equality and valuing the diversity advantage.

What does this mean to the residents of our cities? In this new video from the Intercultural Cities programme you will meet a diverse group of people who reflect on what identity, equality and diversity means to them.

Is identity tied to where we come from, to our background, our langue or something else? What does equality mean, and can we have a just society without it?

Do you want to continue to ponder on the meaning and significance of equality, diversity, and identity? Take a look at the Intercultural Citizenship Test to find out more.
