Workshop on Child hearing and participation: Good practices for the child hearing process – examples from Projeto-12 Portugal
A workshop on Child hearing and participation organised by the Civil Society Committee on the Rights of the Child (CSC-RC) took place on Tuesday 9 May (11:00 CEST - UTC+2).

The workshop aimed to allow experts, researchers and professionals to exchange their views and experiences.

Project 12 - Justice for Children gives particular attention to children’s right to be heard and to express their opinion, as stated in UNCRC art 12. The child’s hearings can happen in different contexts, and it is essential to know some procedures that can help the child to be heard more adequately, thus enhancing positive feelings and a greater sense of well-being.

Main results and guidelines for professionals were presented by Joana Alexandre and Rute Agulhas (University of Lisbon Portugal).
