Gender Equality Expert
At its meeting on 29 January 2015, the Conference of INGOs elected Anne Nègre, University Women of Europe, to the post of Gender Equality Expert for a three year term.
The Gender Equality Expert has a mandate to ensure that issues of gender equality are addressed in a cross-cutting manner by the Conference of INGOs and its committees.
In June 2015, the Action Plan 2015-2017 was adopted. The Action Plan includes measures to mainstream equality with the support of the Council of Europe in the Conference of INGOs, its committees and also in the INGOs in the Conference.
