During the summer session, the Coordination committee for the Turin Process and the European Social Charter of the Conference of INGOs organised a training regarding the collective complaint procedure under European Social Charter. This legal Council of Europe instrument is particularly important for the INGOs with participatory status which have a right to apply for accreditation to introduce such complaints.
This training was organised with support of the Secretariat of the European Social Charter and INGOs having presented collective complaints. About 70 INGO representatives participated. This level of participation illustrates again the interest that INGOs give to social rights in their activities.
