Events
Event for the closure of the project Protection of Human Rights in Biomedicine II
An event will be organised for the closure of the project Protection of Human Rights in Biomedicine II. The aim is to discuss the benefits for Armenia and its citizens from the future ratification of the Oviedo Convention that Armenia signed in May 2024, as well as the achievements of the project on human rights in biomedicine which has been implemented within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2023-2026.
Laurence Lwoff, Head of Human Rights and Biomedicine Division of the Council of Europe, Maxime Longangué, Council of Europe Head of Office, Rustam Bakoyan, Acting Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs of the National Assembly and Lena Nanushyan, the First Deputy Minister of Health, are expected to open the event that will bring together representatives from the National Assembly and other Ministries of the Republic of Armenia.
Media can cover the opening of the event from 11. to 11.30 am, upon prior registration, deadline for registration is noon local time, Thursday 5 December.
