The CDDH held its 97th meeting in Strasbourg from 6-9 December. At this meeting, it adopted a report to the Committee of Ministers on the effective processing and resolution of cases before the European Court of Human Rights relating to inter-State disputes, and a report to the Committee of Ministers on member States’ practice in relation to derogations from the European Convention on Human Rights in situations of crisis. It also held a Workshop on business enterprises’ implementation of human rights and environmental due diligence, and exchanged views with the Chairpersons of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) and the Steering Committee for Human Rights in the fields of Biomedicine and Health (CDBIO).
