A Workshop on the promotion of human rights of older persons took place at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, on 21 June 2018, under the aegis of the Croatian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers and in the framework of the 89^th meeting of the Steering Committee for Human Rights (CDDH, 19-22 June 2018).

• Programme

The aim of this event was to assess the implementation, at national level, of the principles contained in Recommendation CM/Rec(2014)2 of the Committee of Ministers to member States on the promotion of human rights of older persons from 19 February 2014 in order to sensitise to the best  practices.
