The 29th annual meeting of the ENIC and NARIC networks took place in Dublin on the 20-21 June 2022

It gathered 125 representatives of the national centres from 49 countries, going far beyond Europe and including Australia, Canada, Kyrgyzstan and the USA. The meeting provided an opportunity for an update on the latest Networks’ activities, sharing information and good practices on the relevant topics, such as digitization of recognition, quality assurance, flexibilization/microcredentials, fraud in education, global dimension of higher education, recognition of refugees’ qualifications, just to name a few.

The Council of Europe took part in the Workshop on "Strategy to Tackle Fraud in Education: a community perspective" presenting the latest news from the ETINED (Ethics, Integrity and Transparency in Education) Platform . The Council of Europe also provided an update on the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees initiative, which counts 17 countries among its partners.

Last but not least, the event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the joint Council of Europe/UNESCO Lisbon Recognition Convention, which remains a key legal instrument for fair recognition of qualifications in Europe.
