The Leadership Academy Programme (LAP) at local level was a core element of the 3rd Phase of the Strengthening Local Government Structures in Albania project.  A first cycle of training was successfully delivered in 2018 and the programme subsequently condensed into a specific leadership training for the top management corps (TMC) of the Albanian civil service at central level. 

A key objective of the final phase of this Swiss-funded project has been to ensure sustainability and local ownership of project outputs.  A clear example of this objective being met was the launch last week in Durres Albania of a 2nd Cycle of LAP at local level in Albania under the stewardship of the Albanian Academy of Political Studies delivered by local trainers.
