The Centre of Expertise for Good Governance is helping the Government of the Slovak Republic to draft the National Strategy to Strengthen Local Governance, in the framework of the joint CoE-EU Project Delivering Good Governance in Slovakia.

To this end, a series of round tables with the participation of an international expert and local authorities is being organised in Presov, Branska Bistrica and Bratislava from 1 to 3 July 2020. Mayors and other local authorities will take part in regional discussions in order to provide input and contribute to the development of the draft Strategy. This includes implementation and funding plans, as well as a proposal on the establishment of the Main Coordination Committee for the reform.
