The Centre of Expertise for Good Governance, in cooperation with Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia, is organising the first round of the Leadership Academy Programme (LAP) for local authorities. The Council of Europe and Slovak trainers will be delivering this innovative and interactive programme to help mayors and other local officials improve institutional leadership for good governance in their municipalities. The training will include a new module on Leadership in times of crisis and will address challenges posed by the current COVID-19 pandemic. For the first time, the training will be held online, between 26 and 29 May. It will be followed by two more sessions over summer.  The LAP in Slovakia is being implemented as a part of the CoE – EU joint project “Delivering Good Governance in Slovakia”.
