Jutta Gutzkow, Head of the Good Governance Division, presented the European Label of Governance Excellence at a conference on self-government and good local governance organised on 14 February in Barcelona by the Carles Pi i Sunyer Foundation and the Federation of Catalan Municipalities.

The Deputy Mayors from Pila (Poland) and Parets del Vallès (Spain) who had received the label in 2018, spoke about the impact of ELoGE on the governance of their towns to the more than 400 representatives of municipalities from Catalonia who attended the conference.
