The Centre of Expertise and the FSLD - Polish Foundation to Support Local Democracy - are launching the ELoGE - European Label of Governance' Excellence - project during the National Congress of Executive Secretaries in Gdansk on 14-15 May 2018.

During the event, most of the Polish municipalities will have an opportunity to take part in the workshops and to learn how to benchmark the 12 principles of Good Democratic Governance, how to conduct self-evaluations according to the indicators under each principle, how to compare self-evaluations to the opinion of the citizens, and finally, how to measure the quality of governance in each particular municipality. The evaluations will be conducted over summer.

The first Polish ELoGE Award Ceremony is planned for October 2018.
