Within the joint EU/CoE Programme Human Resources Management in Local – Self Government phase II, the Council of Europe (CoE) project team organized the Planning Workshop on 11-12 April 2019 in Novi Sad. Participants from the Ministry of Public Administration and Local – Self Government, National Academy for Public Administration, Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and European Delegation to the Republic of Serbia attended the Workshop.
The purpose of the workshop was to fine-tune project activities and adjust the implementation timeframe in accordance with the proposals provided by the beneficiaries.
In that view, the participants discussed about the strengthening of human resource management functions at local level, further development of the system for professional development of civil servants and the Programme’s potential impact on the respective fields.
High – level representatives: Mr Ivan Bošnjak, State Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration and Local – Self Government, Ms Jasmina Benmansur, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Public Administration and Local – Self Government, Ms Ivana Savićević, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Public Administration and Local – Self Government, Snežana Antonijević, Deputy Director, National Academy for Public Administration, provided significant contributions towards better understanding of the national strategic and legal framework relevant for the efficient project implementation.
Beneficiaries’ proactive approach, great commitment and interest for successful project implementation, was followed by valuable feedbacks relevant for improving the content and scope of the project activities.
