Call for Tender: “Upgraded Technical-Economic Study in the field of civil protection and emergency sheltering in Greece”

The Centre of Expertise for Good Governance is looking for consultants or institutions with expertise on risk management and civil protection, as well as field experience in providing emergency sheltering to populations affected by natural and/or human-made hazards. The aim is to prepare an Upgraded Technical-Economic Study in the fields of civil protection and emergency sheltering on behalf of the Greek government.

Following a request by the Greek General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the Centre of Expertise is implementing the “Technical Assistance Project on Delivering Good Governance in Greece – Part I: Provide Support for the Improvement of Emergency Sheltering of Victims of Natural Disasters”, until 31 January 2021. The objective of the project is to improve the allocation and execution of competences to provide emergency sheltering to people affected by disasters. In this framework, the Centre has already developed a Technical-Economic Study on the specifications for the provision of emergency sheltering services, which needs now to be further upgraded.
