Communication and advocacy campaigns on the Istanbul Convention: Results of the call for projects for civil society organisations

The Council of Europe project “Ending violence against women: multi-country programme” has finalised a call for proposals for civil society organisations (CSOs) with expertise and experience in combating violence against women and domestic violence to support awareness-raising and advocacy campaigns to promote the values, aims and provisions of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combatting violence against women and domestic violence (the Istanbul Convention), generating positive narratives and dispelling myths and misinformation regarding the convention.

The following successful applicants will implement their projects in the period from November 2022 till May 2023:

The projects will use the Council of Europe’s Gender Equality Division, Women Against Violence Europe Network’s (WAVE) and UN Women’s joint methodology in running the campaigns and adapt the advocacy resources to the needs of their respectful countries.

By the end of the projects’ implementation the Council of Europe will organise a promotion event to share the results of the projects achieved by selected CSOs.
