Four day practical seminar “Safety of journalists who work in the conflict zones” was organised on 20-23 October 2017 in Kyiv region with the support of the Council of Europe Project “Strengthening freedom of the media and establishing a Public broadcasting system in Ukraine” in partnership with NGO “Intsitute of Mass Information” at the initiative of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
The participants of the seminar learned in details specifics of the provision of the first aid during military operations and got useful advice on personal physical and digital safety - how to assess risks when planning a mission to conflict zones or other dangerous zones, protect personal accounts and devices etc.
