National ToT follow-up on the Freedom of Expression and the Internet

Within the scope of the Joint Project “Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe (JUFREX)” co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe, a two day event was organised in co-operation with the Macedonian Academy for judges and public prosecutors “Pavel Shatev” – Project partner.

The activity was a continuation of the Training for Trainers held in February 2017 under JUFREX with the aim to strengthening participants’ knowledge on the Freedom of Expression and the Internet. This national ToT follow-up activity was held on 28 and 29 September 2017 in Skopje, in the premises of the Academy for judges and public prosecutors.

Judges from several courts in the country, lawyers and representatives of the Macedonian Bureau for Representation before the ECtHR were among the participants of the activity. The training was led by an international consultant, Mr Arayik Ghazaryan and supported by a national consultant, Mr Lazar Sandev - attorney at law.
