Moldovans invited to learn and celebrate diversity through movies

Documentary films are an extremely powerful medium of raising awareness about human rights and diversity issues and inspiring change. This is why the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau is organising in partnership with Telefilm-Chisinau Department of the public service broadcasting and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova this Diversity and Human Rights Travelling Film Festival in the Republic of Moldova.

The people from ten towns and cities throughout the Republic of Moldova will have the unique opportunity to watch on big screen eight inspiring documentaries of high quality. The films portray the aspirations, visions and challenges of ordinary people living in the Republic of Moldova, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Georgia. The documentaries reflect and provide a better insight into diversity and human rights issues on the European continent.
